Like Ginsberg

Like that Ginsberg guy,
I’m watching all my friends die

Slow deaths,
a little more with every breath

Vices that propped up the day
are now the things that eat it away

One pill at a time
a bottle of wine
to wash it all down
swallowing water as we all fucking drown

Struggling afloat
in this sea of shit

I see the light fade from your eyes
every night as we sleep
restless and cheap
never enough to pay
for the damage each day

From the first
to the last
a little more dies as they pass

Like scenes from the movie
on the editing floor
a thousand stories cut from the show

And I watch all this wonder
just thrown in the trash

The world blind
to the treasures they passed

I wish with all my heart
I could save you

But there’s nothing I can do
for anyone else
while I’m dying myself

  1. I’ve been browsing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It is pretty worth enough ffor me. Personally, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be much
    more useful than ever before.|
    I couldn’t resist commenting. Perfectly written!|
I’ll right away seize your rss feed as I can’t in finding your email
subscription link or newsletter service. Do you have
any? Kindly let me understand in order that I could
    subscribe. Thanks.
